VIRAL 55 EC is a broad-spectrum combination insecticide developed by Progress Agro Industries. It combines Chlorpyrifos 50% and Cypermethrin 5% EC to provide rapid knockdown, vapor action, and long residual control against a wide range of insect pests. Its dual mode of action ensures effective protection for cotton, rice, vegetables, and other crops, ensuring healthier plants, better crop performance, and improved yields.

Mode of Action

Cypermethrin

Acts on sodium channels in the insect nervous system, causing rapid paralysis and immediate knockdown after contact.

Chlorpyrifos

Inhibits the Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) enzyme, disrupting nerve transmission and providing effective contact, stomach, and vapor action.

Dual Action Formula

The combination of Chlorpyrifos and Cypermethrin provides rapid pest knockdown, long-lasting residual control, and helps delay resistance development.

Application:

Mix the recommended quantity with a small amount of water before adding it to the spray tank. Spray uniformly using a knapsack or power sprayer, ensuring complete coverage of the crop canopy. Apply preferably during the evening when pest populations reach the economic threshold level.
