Overview

ERIX 40 WDG is a premium broad-spectrum insecticide from Progress Agro Industries formulated with Thiamethoxam 20% and Emamectin Benzoate 20% WDG. It combines the systemic action of Thiamethoxam with the translaminar activity of Emamectin Benzoate to provide rapid knockdown and extended protection against both sucking and chewing insect pests. The product effectively controls major crop pests, reduces feeding damage, and promotes healthy crop growth for improved quality and maximum yield.

Mode of Action

Thiamethoxam

Thiamethoxam is a systemic neonicotinoid insecticide that acts on the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors of insects. It is rapidly absorbed by plants and provides excellent control of sucking insect pests through contact and ingestion while protecting new plant growth.

Emamectin Benzoate

Emamectin Benzoate is a translaminar insecticide that activates glutamate-gated chloride channels in insects, causing paralysis and immediate feeding cessation. It provides outstanding control of caterpillar and other chewing insect pests with long residual activity.
